For Fans of: Forever in A Day and Cinematic Sunrise

Image walking into a store, you are just looking around, and then you spot your record on the shelves! Callahan had that experience and did it all themselves. No record label, no distribution deal, just DIY. Select unsigned bands have been gaining CD and shirt distribution though varies Hot Topic stores due to the buzz surrounding their bands. Wes Comer, the drummer of Callahan said, “It is hard to put into words how lucky we feel to be able to be in Hot Topic as an unsigned band. They came to us and gave us an offer we could not turn down.”
Callahan have also had the pleasure of jumping on some premier tours with other great up and comers their latest nationwide tour with Asteria and Thee Armada. “I am confident to say it was our most successful tour as a band so far. We became so close with all those guys and I was sad when it ended,” said Wes.
With all the success the band have recently had, they have now decided to work on new material. Wes had this to say about the new material, “New material should be released mid/late 2009.” Watch out for big things to come.
